New Book For Bird Lovers In Spain
Santana Books has just published a new guide to watching birds, giving detailed descriptions of 39 major sites and 35 subsidiary site along the Costa del Sol, Almeria, the Costa de la Luz and. the Dofiana national park as well as some inland sites.
 
The author of "Birdwatching on Spain's Southern Coast", John R. Butler, describes the whole area along Spain's southern coast as a "veritable treasure trove" for birdwatchers. A bird tour guide based on the Costa del Sol, he has selected the sites he believes to be the most reliable out of the hundreds he knows. As well as detailed description of the different bird watching sites, the book also contains detailed maps, a calendar giving the beat times of year to visit.
