DO'S AND DON'TS
COMMUNITY OF OWNERS MONTE PARAISO
CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
It's a CONDITION of the use of Villas and Community Areas and Facilities that all Residents and Guests comply with this CODE.
In the context of this CODE the word "DO" means "MUST" and words "DO NOT" mean "IT IS PROHIBITED".
"DO'S"
 
Swimming Pools
Do remember that you use the pool at your own risk.
 
Do use the pool allocated to your group of villas unless the pool is declared to be out of use by the President or, in his absence the Vice President.
 
Do shower before entering the pool.
 
Do clean up when you leave the pool area, especially cigarette ends.
 
Do supervise your children, for whom you are responsible, in and around the pool.
Rubbish
Do place rubbish in sealed plastic bags and take them to one of the following designated refuge centres which house the large grey ‘Wheelie Bins’, for collection e.g. Sunday / Monday, Tuesday / Wednesday, Thursday / Friday.
 
a)  In between villa No's 34 & 38 beneath the water tower
b)  On the area beside villa No. 51
c)  Opposite the Post Casita, beneath the road side gardens of group 'E'
Noise
Do be considerate and courteous to your neighbour by wearing soft soled shoes in the house, particularly at night and in the early hours of the morning.
 
Do be considerate and courteous to your neighbour by avoiding moving furniture etc., that is likely to cause noise, particularly at night and in the early hours of the morning. Consider applying felt pads to the base of legs of chairs, tables, beds and bar stools.
Drying Of Washing
Do hang washing to dry only on the rear upper terrace i.e. the terrace above the lounge terrace.
Outside Cooking And Eating
Do use the rear lounge terrace area within area of the property.
Security
Do remember that access garden gates and the door to our post box should be kept locked at all time.
 
Do remember to blow your whistle, 3 loud blasts, if you see anything suspicious or unwelcome visitors, this is very effective way of warning other residents that we have uninvited intruders.
Car Parking
Do park cars as near as possible to each resident's villa.

Swimming Pools
Do not use the pool whilst it is being cleaned.
 
Do not enter Pump House or interfere with the equipment etc.
 
Do not take drinking glasses, glass bottles etc. to the pool area.
 
Do not play rough or dangerous games in or around the pool.
 
Do not swim at night, particularly after the pool lights have been extinguished, it can be dangerous.
 
Do not use lilos or other inflatable devices if these cause annoyance to others using the pool.
 
Do not appear nude outside the privacy of your villa.
Rubbish
Do not dump papers, cardboard boxes or other packing material onto community property; use the grey Basura wheelie bins nearest to your villa. Old furniture etc. please phone the E.U.C Sitio de Calahonda office on 952 93 20 40 / 952 93 00 18 to arrange collection. They will confirm the day of collection and advise that you place the articles at the front of your property on the path.
Noise
Do not allow the noise level from radios, transistors, CD players, tape-recorders, televisions, etc. in your villa, to cause annoyance to other residents. This also applies to the playing of music in the gardens and the pool areas.
Drying Of Washing
Do not hang washing to dry in the gardens or drape washing or towels or bathing attire over terrace railings or walls.
Games
Do not play games which are likely to cause annoyance to other residents or damage plants and shrubs.
Car Parking
Do not park cars so as to cause obstruction or narrow roadways or the entrance to or exit from other properties.
Animals
The keeping of animals is not permitted.
Sprinklers
Do not interfere with the sprinkler system without the express authorisation of the President or in his absence, the Vice President or in his absence a member of the Board of Management.
Caravans & Camper Vans
Do not allow caravans, camper vans, tents and camping on the Monte Paraiso Community grounds.
This CODE dated 9th. February 2006 is issued by the Board of Management under the STATUES OF THE COMMUNITY OF OWNERS MONTE PARAISO
 
A copy of the statutes and bye laws have been issued to all owners and are also available for inspection in the office of the Administration during office hours.
